Welcome to issue three of Reflection.
In this issue we share the reflections of a student and an experienced professional. Penny, an undergraduate student, requested to her placement coordinator she gains an interprofessional experience during her placement. She asked to work with Chris Waite, a specialist smoking cessation advisor. We are able to capture an interaction with Chris and Mr Phillips observed by Penny (page 4).
Chris shares his own personal reflections with us of his encounter with Mr Phillips. This shows the importance of reflection in our practice and how reflecting on positive experiences can also highlight to us improvements in service which may still be necessary to improve personal experiences of individuals.
