Read the story Across the Sea before you try to answer these questions

There are different types of questions. Some need short answers, some need long answers and for some you will have a choice. If you have a choice you need to put a ring around the right answer.

[Parents: In a proper test, your child will have to read the story and the questions without any help. For this exercise, you can explain what your child has to do if he/ she is having problems. Try not to give him/ her the answer.]
