cog_bultEmployment considerations
To succeed in the employment market it is best to start with a clear understanding of the routes to employment and the means of finding and securing employment. Everyone would prefer a career that he/she enjoys 100% but in reality most of us have to compromise and find one which contains as many of our likes and as few of our dislikes as possible.

Whether a young person is leaving school or college, or facing a career change, before any choice of career can be made it is necessary to answer some of these fundamental questions.

Getting a job is not an easy business and requires patience, effort and hard work. It can also be a lonely experience but tackled in the right way it can bring its own rewards. These pages aim to help you answer some of them.

cog_bultJob hunting
Effective job hunting is not a haphazard process. It follows a series of logical stages:
  • writing letters
  • filling out job application forms
  • attending interviews
  • possibly sitting some tests
It also involves competition; being selected before other applicants who are all chasing that same job!
