ORAGANISATION OF EUROPEAN AND WORLD SPORT
The organisation of European sport is very similar to the UK in that most individual sports have their own European governing body or sporting federation that oversees competition at European level. For example Union Europeenne de Footbal (UEFA) is the governing body of European football.
The structure of European sport represents a pyramid with a heirarchy.
