Thinking things through
The following suggest ways to try to help you think about your experience. It's worth considering them even if some seem obvious.
Talk to your group members
- explain the issue to somebody to get it clear in your own mind
- hearing yourself speak can put things into perspective
- the other person might have useful questions, similar experiences, new ways of looking at it, give support or reassurance
- ask others involved in the same situation what their reactions were or what they thought happened.
