Job Search Strategies Job search strategies are the steps you need to take to get a job. Careers activities during Year 11 or Year 13 will have helped you prepare for some of the practical aspects of job hunting - writing a CV, preparing for an interview etc. This type of help and support from careers advisory staff can continue even after you have left school. Job Hunting Job hunting follows a logical series of steps such as writing letters, filling out job application forms, attending interviews and possibly sitting some tests.
