Cone drills can come in thousands of varieties, and can range from simple to very complex drills, below in the set of diagrams are a few to get your imagination started!
The slalom
The most basic of cone drills, you need to run in and out of the cones as quickly as possible. This can be developed where you turn and run back through the cones at full speed.
The t-sprint
Within this drill the aim is to always face one way, working on lateral explosive power. This drill is great for goalies who are always having to shift their bodies to block shots.
zig-zag sprint
This drill aims to improve explosive lateral power and full sprint speed
