Conversation

A conversation between two people is called a dialogue. 'Alex and the Alien' is a dialogue. Read this first.

Here is a conversation between Alex and his brother. They are talking about what happened when Alex met Jemba, the Alien. Read what Adam says, then add some words that Alex might say. Read it all the way through before you start.

Make sure the conversation makes sense. Read it out loud with someone else. It might help.

Adam: What's the matter with Scooby. What's he barking at?
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: What, you've really seen an alien? You're making it up.
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: What was he like then?
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: Did he speak?
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: He called you an Earthman? Now I really think you're having me on.
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: So what was this spaceship like?
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: No-one will ever believe you!
Alex: _____________________________________

Adam: How will you prove it?
Alex: _____________________________________
