 Skiing has been used for thousands of years as a means of travelling across the snow, but it is only in the last hundred years that it has become a recognised sport. It is popular with people of all ages. Also, with more than 100 dry ski slopes around the UK, it is a sport that now be enjoyed all year round. If you are thinking about taking to the slopes for the first (second or third time!) or if you are just interested in the sport, then this site is for you.
