	Welcome to Ice Skating
	Ice skating is a sport for everyone and the number of skaters around the world is growing. Currently, there are more than 70,000 ice skaters in the UK. Some take the sport seriously to competition level, but for many it is a fun and sociable way to keep fit and make friends. This site looks at the sport of ice skating in its various forms and suggests how you can take up the sport. There is information about skates, rinks and lessons, plus a guide to the basic moves.
