Hockey Clubs

Hockey Clubs are a good place to develop your knowledge of hockey and improve your game. There are some mixed clubs, and others specifically for men or women. Most clubs have junior teams.

Membership fees vary, but often there is a sliding scale of costs so juniors pay a lower rate. [See Getting Started]

To find your nearest club, look in the 'Sporting Clubs and Associations' section of yellow pages, contact one of the national associations for a list of affiliated clubs or check out this web site:
Hockey Clubs UK at http://www.ubu.brad.ac.uk/~hockey/Linkpages/uk.htm

You may find that some clubs are based with other sports such as cricket - hockey being played at the club in the winter months and cricket in the summer.
