Tutorial Tasks

Read these questions before the tutorial and write some thoughts down. You'll need to get together with your team that you're going to complete the assignment with.

We'll work through these questions during the tutorial as a group and put the best answers together.

Tutorial Task 1: Markets

This task requires a little imagination.

You need to devise a detailed marketing strategy in which you answer the following questions:

• How will you find out what market you are operating in?
• What image will you want your electronic business to have?
• How will you advertise your products or services?
• Who is the typical customer?

You can use the Web Marketing Checklist to help you respond to these questions.

Tutorial Task 2: The Customer

You need to consider your customers.

• If you think you're working on a B2C, you need to then produce a profile of your ideal customer: age, sex, occupation, hobbies, income and so on.
• If you think you're working on a B2B, you need to produce a 10-point plan which details how you will ensure potential clients hear about your products and services.
