WWTM podcasts

Podcast 1: Becca Clare, senior HMI Curriculum FE and Skills Policy and Pete Grady, Policy Lead, Further Education Initial Teacher Education Policy discuss the question: What is subject-specific pedagogy and why is it important?

  • Podcast 2: Responsive Teaching is about setting clear learning goals, planning carefully based on your students’ needs and your knowledge of what they’ve understood and where they are struggling, but also thinking on your feet in the learning environment – wherever that may be! In this podcast, Kirsty Haughton from Nottingham College, Diane Gardner from Citizen Literacy and Sarah Ledger from Lexonic discuss strategies for becoming more responsive in your teaching.

Podcast 3: AI: Friend or Foe. In this podcast we discuss some different ways in which teachers can use AI. Try asking AI to write a roleplay between two theorists (I had Vygotsky, Pavlov and Skinner chatting together) with opposing views. You can then use this to extract the key points from each theorist and turn them into an infographic or piece of text.
