Below are a selection of office files. Click each one and save the file to your computer as prompted, then try opening the file. If you can't open the files please refer to the tip below.

For a free alternative to you could try OpenOffice which is an open-source office suite, compatible with other major office suites. It is available to download from the OpenOffice website.
MP3 is a common audio file that uses digital audio compression to reduce the file size compared to a WAV file. A WAV is an audio file used in Microsoft Windows.

A PDF is a type of document. An advantage is that they can be viewed using free software that allows the user to navigate, search and zoom into the document.
TIP: If you are unable to preview the PDF file you may need to install Adobe Reader from the Adobe website free of charge.

You should see this image of a perfect circle.
TIP: If you don't see this as a perfect circle it might be related to your current screen resolution settings. For example, the circle may appear as a rugby ball shape which may mean you have a widescreen monitor which has been set to widescreen resolution, making images appear stretched. You could try adjusting your resolution in your display settings.

To access Blackboard Collaborate you will need the most recent version of Java installed. You can download this free of charge from the Java website.
You can also access via the Blackboard Collaborate™ Mobile app on your tablet or mobile device. Once you have installed and opened the app you will be asked to enter the session URL and your name.
