Welcome to the TALENT website.

Sheffield Hallam University is accredited by Advance HE to award Fellowships against the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023) in the following four categories: Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow and Principal Fellow.  Advance HE fellowship demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and provides recognition of practice, impact and leadership in teaching and learning.

Eligible staff can apply for professional recognition of their effective and inclusive practice through taught or experience based routes which are brought together under our Teaching and Learning ENhancemenT (TALENT) Framework.

The TALENT Framework is aligned with the university’s Transforming Lives vision and strategy and is underpinned by eight Principles.  Read more about the TALENT Framework and the university context.

Sheffield Hallam currently has around 1,000 staff who have successfully achieved Advance HE fellowship, ranging from Associate Fellow to Principal Fellow, in a variety of roles from all areas of the university including academic, research, technical and professional services.
