Ye Old Cheshire Cheese (Unnamed) Fleet Street. 'Dickens students ... are of the opinion that the Cheshire Cheese is the tavern where Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton dined after the trial at the Old Bailey' (ch.4, bk. 2). Definitely extant.
