Thoughts of Helen
Fingers skim across the paper as she reads.
The light touch
The gentle sound -
A movement that always astounds
Expressions flicker across her face as she reads.
The gentle movement
The light touch -
A spirit admired so much.
Someone to Care
All alone the old woman sat
Wrapped in her blanket, her shield against the cold.
She could hardly hear
She could hardly see
Who would care for her now she was old?
In a crowded room, the young man sat
Wrapped in a blanket of people, alone on his chair.
He could hardly hear
He could hardly see
Who would know he needed someone to care?
The Mighty Oak
Gnarled and knotted
The great tree stood
Magnificently wrinkled alone in the wood.
The Wriggly Worm
The wriggly worm wriggled through the ground
And out popped out his wrinkly head
'What do you want?' said the gnome
'Get yourself off home,
It's late and I'm going to bed!'
What's for tea?
"What's for lunch?"
"What's for lunch?"
"Fish and chips and bread."
"Can I have chocolate cake instead?" "No!"
"What's for tea?"
"What's for tea?"
"Ham and jam and bread."
"Can I have chocolate cake instead?""No!"
"What's for supper?"
"What's for supper?"
"Chocolate cake and gingerbread."
"Can I have toast instead?" "No!"
