Windsurfing is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world because it is a sport that has something for everyone. About Windsurfing
Windsurfing is a relatively new sport yet it has become very popular throughout the world in such a short space of time. About Windsurfing looks at the origins of the sport and traces some of the milestones achieved in producing faster and faster speeds.

Getting Started
Getting Started lists the basic equipment you need for windsurfing. Many beginners hire some of the more expensive items of equipment at the outset and buy the smaller items themselves. However, if you seriously intend to take up the sport on a long term basis, it is worth knowing what to budget for.

Simply Surfing
The activities you take part in will depend on your level of ability. As you progress with the sport, your instructor will guide you through the various skills and manoeuvres. Simply Surfing outlines some of the basic manoeuvres attempted by beginners, intermediate and advanced windsurfers and introduces some of the technical terms and jargon that windsurfers use.
