Brunel University is based on four sites twelve miles west of London: Uxbridge, Twickenham, Runnymede and Osterley.

The Uxbridge site is south of the town centre. It is the university's main administrative base and teaching campus and is a large and modern complex with open lawns and gardens.

Twickenham, three miles from Uxbridge and close to Osterley, is a mixture of modern and historical buildings (Departments: Dance and Music)

Runnymede at Egham near Windsor, is seven miles from Uxbridge, Twickenham and Osterley (Department of Design)

Osterley at Isleworth, is three miles from Uxbridge, and close to Twickenham (Departments: Health Studies, Sport Sciences, Business Studies)

Local travel is by bus, tube or train. All sites are close to the M4, M40, and the M25 motorways.

All campuses have on-site Halls of Residence.

Most first year undergraduates based at Uxbridge or Runnymede and some based at Osterley can expect to have accommodation in campus-based residences. Other students use local rented accommodation although some may move back into halls for their final year.

All the sites are close to modern towns with a range of services. On each campus there are various student-led social activities. For additional attractions, London is well within easy travelling distances and has everything you would expect from a large capital city.

There are extensive sports facilities at Uxbridge catering for a variety of indoor and outdoor sports including badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball, hockey, football and climbing. Locally there is an ice rink, golf course and dry ski slope.

Local attractions include cricket (Twickenham) football (Queens Park Rangers), international rugby (Twickenham), horse racing (Kempton and Sandown) and Thorpe Park theme park.

Brunel has traditionally taught sciences and engineering and the Uxbridge Campus has sophisticated engineering and science laboratories.
All centres have specialist libraries and computer centres.
