What to do nextIf you are thinking about studying there are a number of options open to you. For some options you may need a certain number of GCSEs or 'A' level passes.
If you decide to stay in education after the age of 16, you can move onto further education (FE) or Higher Education (HE).
FE is provided through:
- sixth forms in secondary schools and sixth form colleges (in England and Wales only)
- general further education colleges
- agricultural and horticultural colleges
- art and design colleges
- specialist colleges (e.g. secretarial, maritime etc.)
HE is provided through:
- universities
- colleges of higher education
