An Inter-Rail 1988 pass entitles the holder to unlimited rail travel on the national rail network of the countries of the zone or zones purchased.

Inter-Rail 1998 is available in two forms. Under 26 (-26) and 26 and over (26+). The -26 pass is for those who are under 26 years of age on the first day that the pass is valid. The 26+ pass is for those aged 26 years and over on the first day the pass is valid.
