Crufts Dog Show
March 5 - 8 1998

Displays, activities, celebrities, and more than 250 trade stands make Crufts one of the most prestigious Dog Shows in the world.

Central to the show is the competition itself, with over 18,000 top pedigree dogs competing to achieve the title 'Best in Show'. Individual compeitions are held for 'Best of Breed.' Highly experienced dog owners and veterinary experts are on hand to answer questions and you have the opportunity to see more than 160 breeds of pedigree dog in the Discover Dogs Section.

The Kennel Club of Great Britain provide help and advice on how to become involved with canine activities throughout the country through such schemes as the Good Citizen Dog Scheme, the Kennel Club Junior Organisation and the Working Dog Forum.

 The Competition
The dogs are grouped according to breed and judged for 'Best of Breed' on separate days (this is subject to change):

March 5 - Working Dogs
March 6 - Terriers and Hounds
March 7 - Toys and Utility Dogs
March 8 - Gundogs
March 8 - 'Best in Show'

All the events take place in Halls 1 - 5 of the NEC:
Hall 1 - Special Events Ring, Agility Area and Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Hall 2 - Trade Stands and Stalls
Hall 3 - Discover Dogs, Trade Stands and Stalls
Hall 4 - Trade Stands and Stalls
Hall 5 - Main Ring (Tickets for seats are only available from the Kennel Club)

Doors are open to the public between 8.15am and 7.30pm.

Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) £17
There are reduction for groups of 10 or more.
