• What makes you say they have renewed themselves, and which box in the renewal grid do they fall into?

Have a think about the University:

• How far does the University act as a learning organisation?
• How would you describe the University's Intelligence Quotient?

Task 3: Knowledge Management in the Intelligent e-Business

Some businesses have entered the e-Business world without seemingly worrying about notions of knowledge management:

• How have they survived?
• What is the relationship between knowledge management, e-Business and eLearning?

Task 4: Knowing the structure of an e-Business

You need to have a good look at Amazon or another famous e-Business that you know a lot about.

• Draw a spider diagram or mind map that places the e-Business in a network made up of other businesses and "stakeholders".
• Make sure you include items such as products and services for each business within the environment.

From this you need to get a thorough understanding of the needs and flows of businesses within this network. This will help you understand the complex web of relationships and processes that go on for an e-Business.
