You need to speak to a number of people from different walks of life. These conversations need only be a few moments of your time, and should include where possible a mixture of professional workers, students, people who are homemakers, senior citizens and young people still in compulsory education. The aim of the conversation is to find out how e-Business plays a part in their everyday lives.

Make sure you keep good notes.

You need to speak (where possible) to people in a business environment. These conversations need only be a few moments of your and their time. You could try someone who owns a store, perhaps someone in a professional business (such as lawyers or an architect), a manager in a large business. Do you know anyone who runs a "dot-com"?

You need to look for a number of businesses that operate in the same industry - for example retailing books, selling pharmaceuticals, or offering a service. You should try and look at about 4 or 5 e-Businesses and about the same number of bricks-and-mortar companies.
