Tutorial Tasks

Read these questions before the tutorial and write some thoughts down. You'll need to get together with your team that you're going to complete the assignment with.

We'll work through these questions during the tutorial as a group and put the best answers together.

Tutorial Task 1: Information in the e-Business

This task requires a little imagination. Remember that you were thinking about the business in the case study.

You need to think about how important information is going to be in the e-Business venture.

• Itemise and explain how the business team will gather information
• Give specific examples of how they might use the information, tailored to the development of specific products and services
• Identify the benefits of such information to the business and to their customers

Tutorial Task 2: Information Problems

You need to be able to identify problems that come through the use of information within the business, and how they should deal with it.

• Identify existing or potential problems in the flow of and their use of information in the e-Business venture.
• Create a 5-point strategy on how they will increase effectiveness in the flow and use of information business, including any business structure, strategic or technological changes that need to be made.
• Give advice to one of your fellow learners on the basis of reading their problems and reviewing their 5-point strategy
