Title of session:

UML modelling of infrastructure- Use case diagrams

 

Aims:

To learn how we model functional requirements of an online shop like amazon.com. To learn to encapsulate complicated infrastructural requirements and to consider how features of an online shop interface could translate to these functional requirements.

 

Learning:

By the end of the session learners will be able to use UML notation to model functional requirements of any online infrastructure.

 

Prior action needed:

At a minimum, learners are required to carry out all learning activities for weeks 33. There numerous tasks and questions that learners are requested to carry out throughout the learning materials. Learners should do/answer all tasks/questions and make comprehensive notes.

 

Assessment activities built into session:

Learners are prompted with pertinent questions throughout the session. Learning outcomes of the session contributes directly to the deliverables of group project, personal blog and critical reflection assignments.
