Have a think about the University:

• How far does the University act as a learning organisation?

Some businesses have entered the e-enterprise world without seemingly worrying about notions of knowledge management:

• How have they survived?
• What is the relationship between knowledge management, electronic business and eLearning?

Task 4: Knowing the structure of an e-enterprise

You need to have a good look at Amazon or another famous electronic business that you know a lot about.

• Draw a spider diagram or mind map that places the electronic business in a network made up of other businesses and "stakeholders".
• Make sure you include items such as products and services for each business within the environment.

From this you need to get a thorough understanding of the needs and flows of businesses within this network. This will help you understand the complex web of relationships and processes that go on for an electronic business.
