Read these questions before the tutorial and write some thoughts down. You'll need to get together with your team that you're going to complete the assignment with.

Tutorial Task 1: The digital enterprise phased development

This task requires a little imagination. Remember that you were thinking about the business in the case study.

You need to think about a mission for the business

• What are the eBusiness objectives
• What are the steps the eBusiness needs to take to get to those objectives?
• Who are their competitors and which companies (rivals or other) do you think they should admire
• What is it about their product/service and/or their approach that makes them unique and differentiated?
• What is their company ethos?

Tutorial Task 2: The digital enterprise phased development

You need to describe the complexities of the task in converting to or expanding into an electronic business

• What issues do they face when considering the technology you’re going to use?
• How will they ensure privacy of customer information?
• How will they cultivate new customer relationships?
• How will they measure performance in the eBusiness?
• What types of partnerships and collaborations with other businesses do they need to make and why?
