Title of session:

UML modelling of e-Business infrastructure- Sequence diagrams

 

Aims:

To learn how each of the functional requirements of an online shop like amazon.com. Translate to a number of objects and messages that these objects pass to each other.

 

Learning:

By the end of the session learners will be able to use UML notation to model functional requirements of any online infrastructure in the form of sequence diagrams.

 

Prior action needed:

At a minimum, learners are required to carry out all learning activities for the week. There numerous tasks and questions that learners are requested to carry out throughout the learning materials. Learners should do/answer all tasks/questions and make comprehensive notes.

 

Assessment activities built into session:

Learners are prompted with pertinent questions throughout the session. Learning outcomes of the session contributes directly to the deliverables of group project and success in developing the portfolio.
