We offer a range of free, non-credit modules, and you can find out more about them on the &#8216;Academic English non-credit modules&#8217; page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>H<\/strong><strong>o<\/strong><strong>w much does it cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing! You can take a weekly UES class or use the Language Advisory Service free of charge if you are an enrolled student at Sheffield Hallam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wh<\/strong><strong>e<\/strong><strong>n and where are the classes held?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A timetable of classes is published each semester and available on the timetable page, on Blackboard and through Unihub. However, attending the WMD class gave me several useful skills such as \u2018being critical\u2019 in academic writing and I am now better at academic referencing and paraphrasing. &nbsp;I really recommend the UES for all international students. <strong>Seth Boateng<\/strong>, <strong>MSc Human Resource Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">I am a PhD student from China.
